RP: YSS Aeon [Mission 7.6] Repairs and recovery

Maki departed from the Aeon after all the others had gone. She had requested some plain, non uniform like, clothes from the fab-bay to wear before leaving. She was disappointing she had been unable to corner the Doc for a private conversation, but had other activities to attend to to keep her mind off things. She had no desire to socialistic with the crew as a whole. She was sure, despite their polite outward mannerisms, that they wanted a SAINT operative hanging out with them. She would have felt insulted and hurt by that notion once, but now she knew better. She knew it was part and parcel of her job, what she was and she accepted it.

Her casual dress allowed her to blend into the crowds as she walked along, just another neko, one of billions. No one would know she was on her way to check the first of several covert signals and dead drops.

Having had the reason explained to him by a colleague in a decade gone by, Eiven was sure to not skip the shower either. Even the tiny, undetectable bit of sweat that he had worked up since that morning was taboo to go in with, so he made sure to clean up as good as was medically healthy. Knowing the other half of the taboo, however, the doctor paid extra attention to rinsing as well to remove as much of the soap as possible.

This careful process resulted in the older Minkan to take much longer than his typical shower on the Aeon; but he eventually finished after one last check. He then grabbed one of the available towels and checked for what direction he needed to go in next. "Looks like it's this way," Eiven mentioned upon locating the sign and started moving in that direction.

Once out into the bath space, he noticed the one that looked like it was a bubbling pot. Smiling in recognition, Eiven made his way over to the jacuzzi and very slowly lowered himself into it, letting out a drawn out grunt of pleasure as he sat down. The officer cadet then put his towel up behind in and sighed as the jets and heat hit him, "That's what I've been needing..."

Josea walked into the actual bath area. He took note of the traditional female statue at the far end. This one was a Yamataian female mostly exposed but with a sculpted bit of cloth that came over right shoulder and crossed the body and wrapped around the left hip and down the led. Steam rose from the bath, he gave a simple nod to Eiven who had chosen the jacuzzi and removed his towel and walked into the bath. The water was as hot as always and he walked around a bit and finally found a bench to sit on and relax.

A few minutes later Yani, Gi, Sachi and Sunflower entered the bath. Their arrival marked by their laughter which sound much louder given the silence of the bath. All but Sunflower walked to the bath and settled into the water.

Sunflower approached the Jacuzzi, she removed her towel and folded it far enough away to keep it dry. She stepped into the bubbling water and sat opposite of Eiven. "Most people do not choose to use the Jacuzzi. I hope you do not mind my joining you."

Yoshiro arrived at the showers leading to the baths and put his stuff in a locker. He took a shower and relaxed before heading into the baths. He sat alone and thought about his family back home. "I wonder what they are doing now?" He thought out loud. He wished that he could have some vacation time but he knew that probably wasn't possible at the moment. He settled in and relaxed.

In the end, when Saki found out they would be spending the night, she did a quick run to Aeon as well to get an overnight bag. When they entered the bath-house, she gave the attendant a slight bow and them moved into the girls changing room with others. Getting undressed and having a shower was a quick thing. Though to Saki it was new that shower was here and not in the actual room with the bath. Still she had a proper scrub and helped was back of anyone else who was interested.

That was why she got into the bath as last girl. She put her towel to the side and rinsed a piece of cloth in cold wathers. Then with no modesty at all walked into the bath to join Yani, Gi, Sachi and Yosea with Yoshiro. She sigh in relief, putting the cold cloth on top of her head and leaning egest the edge of the bath.

"Gokuraku..." she said and looked at others. "Is it just me or does this crew ends up naked in the bath together fairly often? Oh wait, did we try asking captain and XO if they would like to join us?"

The sound of merriment was a kind melody to the old doctor as he sat, head back, staring at the ceiling. He had noted that someone came close and entered the jacuzzi, but only listened to make sure they hadn't come too close without knowing he had been paying attention. When he heard Sunflower, however, Eiven's head came up and he looked over at the Neko.

"No, not at all," he replied with a measured smile while trying not to stare. The Minkan then looked back up at the ceiling, and sighed pleasantly, "So, what trouble are you looking to get into after this?"

Josea looked in Saki's direction. "Well when I was coming out of my cabin I heard that the Captain say that she was going to meet the XO once she got though taking care of some work. Guess that means we are left to find our own entertainment."

Yani chuckled and said, "And what is wrong with being naked in the bath. That is what the bath is for. Besides for those of you who are not in a relationship, its an ideal way to see who catches your fancy."

"Trouble? I do not know about getting into trouble onboard the Kyoten. After all it is a Star Army facility. Now if we're planet side. I am sure I could find some mischief to get into." she answered. "What about you? Going to relax and kick up your heels?"

"I guess captain needs some time away from the crew," Saki nodded. It was perfectly understandable. The captain was worrying about the crew every day, while the ship was out there. Now she finally had chance to just go out and have fun, let the crew to their own shenanigans. Saki was curious about the captain goin out alone with the Xo though. Was there something goin on there?

"Soo..." Saki said as Yani spoke. The blue haired neko grinned and finished her sentence. "...someone caught your fancy yet?"

Sheela's Temp Den:

Sheela finished up with what she needed to get done and a brief nap to recharge herself. She dressed in simple attire, her usual clothing of black cargo pants, black t-shirt with the Aeon Patch sewn on just under her shoulder in front so others could know she was part of a ship crew and sandels. Her ever present wrist computer/ communicator on her left wrist.

Mian Concourse:

Sheela headed back to the main concourse where all the restaraunts, entertainment and stores was located at. She moved gracefully enjoying the walk. She moved along at a easy slow pace that allowed her to enjoy what she was seeing.

"That's what time off is typically for, is it not?" Eiven smirked a little, bringing his head up again, "With the little time we have, there is a garden that requires my presence, a VCE Chair to visit my nephew from, and hopefully a poker table at some point in all that. Some nice clean vodka wouldn't hurt either..."

The officer cadet then sighed with a light smile recalling some rather nice ones where the alcohol content was only ethanol. Smooth, almost like water, yet better; but not what you would want to rack up an extended tab with.

Icea Cream Parlor?

As Kata'nova ate her ice-cream, and savored every bite, an odd feeling began to come over her; a feeling of euthophia. "Uijt tuvgg.. jut hsfbu!," she remarked as her head bobbed from side to side, it was an odd feeling - unlike anything she'd felt she'd had before.

Yoshiro wondered if he could start a relationship while in the military. He never had a realtionship before and didn't understand what one was. I never had something like that. He thought to himself. He looked over at Yani and wondered what her response to the question was.

Yani smiled at Saki, and reached over to take Gi's hand. "Actually I already have my fancy. Gi and I are a couple. Although once in a while we like to mix things up with someone different. Josea has been with us on a couple of occasions. But perhaps this time we will leave him free to be with someone else."

Sachi looked at Yoshiro, he had a strange expression on his face. She glided closer to him in the bath. "So, what has you thinking so much?"

Blushing slightly, he sighed. "I have always wondered what a relationship is like. I never had one at all, at least not like Gi and Yani. All I ever did was get into trouble when I was younger."Yoshiro said. He was kind of nervous about admitting his feelings to another person and it probably showed. "I wouldn't even know what to do about it even if someone were to go out with me. I apologize, here I am complaining about my lack of a love life when we are supposed to be having fun."

~~Ice-cream Parlor~~

"Well I'm glade you are enjoying it." Freyja smiled, as she reached u and pushed the hair from out in front of her face. "As why I asked, is I want to stop to get some books. I'm running out f ones to read between flights." She looked down at her own icecream, before pushing it away slightly with a small frown on her face. She missed her fighter. She wondered if the fabrication bay here could build her one.

"That is fine Yoshiro, talking is fun too," Saki said to the man and smiled. She then looked back at Yani. "Well all I ever had was little something with Kyoka. I am not even sure it was a relationship, but it was nice. Kyoka is gone now though and I have a lot of responsibility now. I do not think, I can even afford a relationship right now." Saki said, she did not seem sad though, simply stating how things were.

Sachi listened to Yoshiro and the Saki. Listening was something that she was very good at. In the wardroom she would often listen to the various crew members. It was a way for her to find out what they liked or preferred. This was how she would modify or update the menu on the ship.

She decided that it was time for her to speak, "Saki-San, I believe that you have it backwards. It is because you have a lot of responsibility, you need a relationship even more. Someone that you can talk to after a hard day. Not as a fellow soldier, but as someone who cares about you as a person. A person who can make you remember that you are a person with wants and needs. We are not machines. You may be a soldier, but you are a person as well. A relationship will help you to maintain balance in yourself and your life. I think in the long run a good relationship will make you a better soldier and a leader."

She turned her attention to Yoshiro. "Gi and Yani's relationship is special. They knew each other before they came to the Aeon. But they are still together. You want a relationship, then talk to a person. Ask them out. It does not have to be for some romantic activity. Work on being friends first. We are on the Kyoten, it has many facilities for recreation. Take advantage of them. I have been on the Aeon for most of my life. If you want a relationship, start a friendship. Once you are friends you can decide if you have stronger feelings."

Sunflower smiled at Eiven, "To be honest, I am still getting to know the crew. I transferred to her several months before your arrival. This is the first chance I have had to relax and get to know them. As for Kicking up my heels, there are plenty of options, both in the crew and on the facility. I just haven't decided what I'm in the mood for." She looked around, "As for getting some Vodka, talk to Dang Mei. She's the service chief. She has quite the private inventory for those who wish to purchase private stocks."

The discussions in the main bath made Eiven smirk and shake his head. He found the companionship lecture rather cute, though reserving judgment on its correctness, feeling that it was more up to the individual how closely it ought to be followed. It did, however, remind the old man of one or two past opportunities he had never capitalized on due to where his own focus was.

Sunflower's lack of plan was understandable; integration can often be difficult with a pre-existing, close knit group. He himself wanted to get to know people on principle since patients who knew their doctors were also more likely to accept and follow treatments what were given. The suggestion on where to get vodka, however, was interesting as he was more thinking about a single drink at a bar our lounge.

"I was more worried about getting a hold of a nice double to sip on to pass and evening than locating a whole bottle," the Minkan replied, "I'll keep that in mind though. What kind of activities to you enjoy?"

Day Spa

Misaki raised her hand and felt herself smile as she got a look at Katae. It was nice to see her outside of being shot at and the daily business of running the ship, nude or not. Squeezing her hand back, she let the contact linger even when the both ended up laid out across the tables. She was about to say something when their two specialists arrived, and got to work on their legs first. A little smile played on the soldier's lips while they worked, "If I had been waiting too long there is a chance I might have lost all composure and fallen asleep like this were some kind of flop house." Teased the XO lightly in her own way, "It just gave me time to enjoy myself, but it is much better now."

Pausing to enjoy the contact from both the Nekovalkryja kneading at her left calf, and the one holding her hand, she swept her hair out of the way and then asked, "What shall we do after this? A meal nearby, and then to a hotel or the ship, or something a little less standard? I shall not complain either way, I was able to take care of my daily training already anyway." She admitted.

Kyoten::

Sheela moved along, entering shops and various establishment to get a closer look at the items on display to be sold. She moved slowly and carefully through the stores to prevent her tail from brushing up against others and the merchandice.

She could see the relief of the store's personnel when she left the store to move on. She passed the Ice Scream Parlor that Freyja and Kata' nova were in. She spotted them through the big display window as she passed by. She kept moving on down the concourse as something else caught her eyes and interest.
