Takeyu kept his communicator open and headed back to the cargo bay; luckily nothing was out of place just yet. He searched the bay until coming across the STV that was sitting in the corner.

Walking around the vehicle he spotted the hexagonal area where the Aether Generator was located. He tapped his finger there and smiled slightly as he found an outlet and ran it into the nearby power socket. A positive number appeared on the terminal.

As he was about to leave the bay to find more, his eyes fell upon another damage control station in the bay - and then onto a second generator located in the very station he taken the previous one out of. "Man, I need to get my eyes examined," he sighed and retrieved the one generator from the station he had just used, and the other two from the other damage control station.

Hooking them up, he beamed with pride as he got positive numbers. "I hope the Taisa has enough power here," he laughed lightly and picked up the phone. "Taisa, you should have plenty of power right now. I've got positive numbers across the board from the five Aether generators," he said and looked behind him back at the STV. "Did you want me try and repair the forward sensors or just stay with the generators?" he asked.

Inside the maintenance conduit Tasuku had managed to manually shunt power from the pylon's reactor to the power lines running toward the main computer.

On his communicator he tried contacting Hanako again, "Taisa, power should be restored to the main computer, so long as the reactor keeps working, but this isn't guaranteed last, the systems in this section are in rough shape.. and very hot, there is a chance of overloading..."

Tasuku vision blurred and the conduit seemed to spin around him for a second.. inside the AMES suit Tasuku was wet with sweat, but his vision focused as he took a few deep breaths. Gotta move... he thought as he started trying to crawl forward.

"Only the Taisa, haven't run into anyone else since we lost power." Takeyu responded back to him. He looked over when Junko spoke that they were okay. "The fires in Engineering are taken care of as far as I know and Blackberry-Juni is taking care of the fire in the wardroom. As for the rest of the ship, I do not know the current situation Heisho." He spoke to her with confidence. He wasn't about to tell her that he hadn't bothered to try to get a hold of any senior leadership since he thought they were too busy to bother themselves with an infantryman.

He returned part of his attention back to his communicator soon afterwards. "Roger, if you are still in communication with Taisa Hanako, please relay my report that Nitô Heisho Takeda Junko and the two Elysians on board are safe and sound in Heisho's cabin." He paused for a moment to let Takeyu digest that. "I am about to check the wardroom, but if there is nothing that needs my attention there....do you require any help?"

Takeyu nodded and relayed Mikael's report to the Taisa about the VIPs and Nitô Heisho Takeda Junko and their current location and condition.

"I should be fine where I am, I hope" was all he said as he awaited a response from the Taisa.

"Now that we can move and see again," Hanako announced over the intercom, "we have two options: play dead, or fight. We cannot return home for repairs because our hull is too damaged to support the combined field system and we cannot use the hyperspace fold system because our capacitors are destroyed. What we can do is shoot our anti-starship weapons and maneuver with our STL engines. Because we would be derelict in our moral and military duties if we did anything but our best to assist friendly forces...and because we did not join the military to just sit around and not make a difference, I am going to turn us around and get us back in the battle. Prepare for combat."

Hanako turned the ship around and headed for the enemy.

Takeyu heard the announcement and let out a sigh. "I guess I'll keep an eye on the generators" he said to himself. As he stood there he looked at his communicator and realized that someone else had tried to contact him earlier.

"Nayacesen-Hei? Where are you? What happened to the bay?"

He quickly listened to the message and realized who it was. He then sent off a response.

"Endoh-hei! Sorry about not responding sooner! I'm in the forward cargo bay right now keeping an eye on a few Aether generators. There was an explosion of some sort in engineering and we lost power, we've managed to get it back though... where are you?!"

Hanako suddenly remembered the teleporters. The mission! "Nika, see if you can find Golden Apple and target her. We still need to keep those teleportation units out of Mishhuvurthyar hands."

"I'm still in the bay, never got out. Do you need me there, or should I go ahead and start working in here?" Kumiko stood herself back up, leaning up against the wall. She winced, and visibly favored her left leg. I guess my head wasn't the only thing I banged up when we got hit.

Takeyu thought for a moment. He did need another tech to help get the forward sensor array back online fully, but at the same time he was worried about his fellow crewmen. Though I could use another hand with repairs, you should get to medical and have the nurse there patch you up! he said.

"Right on it!" Nika replied as she tapped on the console, thankful to her fellow crewmen in getting the powers restored. The sensors beeped crazily as they displayed the large number of ships both sides had amassed and engaged in battle. "Taisa, with the intensity of the battle, I doubt the Golden Apple had gone onto any of the enemy's ship. It should be hiding among the friendlies until it finds an opening to move." The neko filtered the sensors, pinpointing on the frequency the shuttle was running on.

"With our current condition, we will neither be able to retrieve nor destroy the shuttle... shall I send the shuttle's information to the Elysians?"

Sune turned to Ramiro, "Feel like taking a walk outside Valencia? We could try to locate and perhaps disable the Golden Apple. Taisa, Valencia and I are suited up, we can head out and attempt to locate the shuttle using the Mindy systems."

Kumiko smiled weakly. "No time for that right now. I'm not badly off, so it makes more sense for me to try and get us back in condition to get out of here. What do you need help with?"

Seeing there was nothing else he needed to do since the three were perfectly okay, he made a respectful gesture to the three and excused himself out of the cabin. Closing the door behind him, he made his way back towards the wardroom to help Blackberry with any potential stubborn fires left in there.

He was on the first step of the stairs leading up when he stopped as he heard the ship's intercom came to life. "Now that we can move and see again," the Taisa spoke over the intercom, "we have two options: play dead, or fight. We cannot return home for repairs because our hull is too damaged to support the combined field system and we cannot use the hyperspace fold system because our capacitors are destroyed. For a moment he was in a better mood since he could satisfy his ID-SOL genes in taking the fight to the NMX, but then he remembered the SAoY didn't have time to transfer a DAISY suit to the ship. Unless he was intending to strap a rocket onto his back and infiltrate a NMX ship, all he was doing was fighting fires. He slumped his shoulders a little bit as he reached the same location he left Blackberry at. "Do you require any assistance?" Mikael said, not really paying attention to if she was there or not.

I'd say engines but something tells me that will take a lot longer than repairing things such as the sensors and weapons, the Taisa could use more eyes outside of the ship and perhaps a bit more weapons. I doubt we can give her everything, with how beat up this poor girl is, but at least we can give her something more, he thought for a few seconds.

He knew sensors were the best bet, but he didn't know if he could get to the forward sensors or not from his location. The other option was shields, but without the main reactor, it was pretty useless to repair those as there wouldn't be a point.

Let's check on the sensor dish, I can't help but get a feeling I may know why the system is saying its active when it clearly isn't. Can you meet me along the way? he said and started out of the cargobay.

Even the sensors are out? The damage must be more extensive then I thought... Kumiko pushed herself up off of the wall, wincing as she stood free. At least some bruising, and most likely a sprain. Hopefully I won't need to do much running, with my concussion on top of that.

"I might be a bit slow, but I'll get there. Anything you know for sure we'll need?"

"Sounds like a plan," Ramiro responded as he walked into the shuttle bay. Once inside he looked around, searching for the teleportation units. He reached down for his comm and radioed in. "Valencia to Taisa. Confirming the absence of the Golden Apple and teleportation units in the shuttle bay." He worked his way over by the rear door and decided to wait for the go ahead. Since he figured it might be a minute he decided formulating a plan would be a good idea. "Once we're out there which direction do you think we should head. Up in the rec-room they may not even know where the Golden Apple has gone to, so in case they don't have anything for us we should at least come up with something."

"Taisa, with the intensity of the battle, I doubt the Golden Apple had gone onto any of the enemy's ship. It should be hiding among the friendlies until it finds an opening to move."
"I doubt that," Hanako replied. "That shuttle is going to find a ship as soon as possible and that ship is going to leave the battlefield as fast as possible to deliver its bounty. We still have all our omni-directional sensors...find it."

With Charisma's help and the shuttle's unique transponder, Nika was actually able to locate the Golden Apple heading to another 4-ship destroyer squadron on the battle's edge. Sensors indicated that the ships were already charged for a space fold.
"With our current condition, we will neither be able to retrieve nor destroy the shuttle... shall I send the shuttle's information to the Elysians?"
"Why not?" Hanako asked. We still have most of our guns. Follow that shuttle and shoot it down. Send orders for the Mindy troops to equip hyperspace boosters so they can jump to the shuttle's position and disable it."

Blackberry was now up into the wardroom, almost finishing up with the fires. "Mikael, when are you going to transfer bodies?" she suddenly asked him as she worked.

"I might be a bit slow, but I'll get there. Anything you know for sure we'll need?"

Some tools will work, I'm hoping that there's a damage control station nearby so we can recover any items needed to repair it. he said and walked up to a nearby phone, he was tempted to inform the Taisa of what they were going to do but thought otherwise as she could be engaged in menuvers, and being disturbed might get them killed.

I'll wait by the access hatch, please becareful Kumiko

Sune thought for a moment, "Well there are quick ways we can try; they may not work but are worth the try. We can start by looking for the Golden Apple's beacon, it is a Star Army vehicle so if its beacon is active we could try to use that. If that does not work we can try locating the Mindy the NMX stole. If the easy methods do not work, then we have to use the AIES in our suits and see if we can find a likely target, a shuttle is not going to go charging across a battle field." Sune joined Ramiro at the door. The glow from his CFS active, "Once we find her, I suggest we fire to disable with Forearm weapons in Charged Beam mode, then close and use them in Saber mode to board."

"Taisa can be really reckless when it comes to fulfilling objectives..." Nika thought to herself as the sensors pinpointed the shuttle's location.

"Valencia-Heisho, Jalen-Heisho, the Golden Apple has been located. Taisa wants the shuttle back as primary objective. Hyperspace boosters have been authorized to be equiped on your Mindys. Sending live feed data to your suits."
