Medical Bay
Before Misaki knew it, it was already over. She found herself laid down, with a small bundle of Neko in her arms asleep. Saki looked up to Eden with a happy and tear filled look, grinning from ear to ear.
Royama had noted the time of birth, and spared a moment to stare at the couple and their newborn. It was always different looking at two people after they've suddenly become parents, although given the circumstances she knew it'd likely be short lived. But it was still nice to see, a good reminder that the ranking officers on board were still just people.
Eden looked as if she had never lived before until this moment. She felt as if the entire universe may very well have stopped moving and begun to spin around her daughter instead.
"This life..." Eden muttered. "Our lives are no longer just for us, Saki. They're for her, now, too."
Misaki smiled and nodded, the little one stirring just enough in her sleep to nuzzle up to her mother a little more. Misaki simply added on without looking up, "Head back to the bridge, get us out of this, and we can see if she wants to meet some people."
Eden let out a little sigh, then looked up to Royama, issuing orders by saying, "I want you to go to the power armor bay and suit up. Saki, where do you feel most comfortable being?"
"Will do, Shosa, just be sure to keep the lil' one out of harm's way, not that you need to be told that." The medic said as she stood up straight, brushed out her uniform, and left for the power armor bay. There was no time to waste, not that there ever was.
Once the medic had finished, Saki spoke. "I feel safest near the bridge, but I guess the Captain's Suite will do."
"Come, let's go there together. I would like you to be nearby, Saki..." Eden murmured afterwards, saying, "And you, too, Kikyō. I'd like to get to know you as soon as possible." She liked the way her child had Saki's Neko ears with raven-black fur and hair of the same color. She especially liked the little Neko's eyes, though. They reminded her of Kikyō mother's own. Eden added with a smile, "Little one."
Misaki picked up the sleeping eight inch tall youngling, which woke her up. Saki quietly began humming as she stood up and followed Eden to the bridge. Eden kept looking nervously behind her with wide, expectant eyes and once in awhile made soft utterances that weren't quite words.
Bridge
Once Eden had gotten to the bridge, Misaki quietly carried the youngling in her arms towards the captain's suite. Kikyo looked over Saki's left shoulder at Eden, the bashful look she gave giving off she knew who she was.
Eden's eyes longed to stay on Saki and Kikyō, but quickly scanned the bridge after Saki and Kikyō were out of sight.
