Eden opened her mouth to speak out to Mochi and was about to send telepathic messages to Saki and Asuka when the man appeared again after a soft sparkle of light appeared on the bridge.

"Need to slow down?" he asked.

Eden nodded mutely, amber eyes wide as she looked at him.

He snapped his fingers and Asuka was yelling out across the bridge, "We've come to a full stop, captain!"

Eden said sharply, "Kyōi, get us turning sharply to port-side. I want us to going North of this version of the Kikyo sector!"

"Why is that?" the man asked. "You might want to stay closer to home, as it were."

"What do you know?" Eden asked, standing.

He looped his fingers around his little belt and said, "About as much as you— that there is a device that can get you home. You just need to procure the right supplies, is all."

"Tell me what we need to do," Eden said as she turned and sat back down. She rested her chin on her middle and ring fingers as her index finger pressed against her cheek as she listened.

He said, "You will need to reconfigure your ship. Your CDD, warp drive, and aether shock array will need to be utilized in doing this. On top of that you may need to go where you aren't quite allowed..."

Eden uncrossed and re-crossed her legs, pondering what he was saying. "Tell me more."

The entity smiled knowingly, happy to be of help and with a selfish hope of his own.

Power Armor Bay

In an instant there were ten more power armor figures in the power armor bay, looking as if they had just teleported in. Most of the enemy power armors began firing on those that had just entered.

Mat's saber rifle cut down the shields of everyone he swept the aether fire past while William's swords slashed at Wila's arm and caught her arm in his grasp. She was his to dispose of—if he could fire a weapon powerful enough to cut down what looked like this universe's equivalent to a SARAH.

The Neko Hanna had slashed reared her head back just before it split from her neck and fell tumbling to the ground. Hanna had found a lucky place between the helmet and neck piece where the armor was substituted for a more flexible material—one much less capable of standing up to aether weaponry than the rest of her suit.

Orion was targeted by a Minkan in a suit that came forward and tried to plunge its saber rifle through the Elysian's wing as he moved his body out of the way. His armor could only deflect the blow for so long. He had to think of some way to unburden himself of the enemy.

Ise's target outstretched their free arm while the NH-28-f ripped at their visor and mindlessly groped towards Ise, finally firing a forearm pulse canon directly at Ise, though their aim was hindered by lack of ability to focus on Ise and the assailed power armored IYS Kaiyō crew member fell to the ground, completely indisposed.

Yoshida's gattling gun did heavy damage to everyone around her, save her friends.

Boss informed everyone whose shields were down and who needed more help getting decimated.

YSS Kaiyo - Power Armor Bay

Meissa allowed herself a second to watch the NH-28's power as the sorry armor had to face...whatever she was. Then the new armors teleported in.

Screw that, time to do things.

Meissa decided to become the fully metal Neko's support, shooting whoever shot her, and generally being a huge nuisance towards anyone trying to draw a bead on the scary Neko. She tried to close in as much distance as possible between herself and their frontline.

Why? Probably because she wanted in that action Gormasu was causing. She wanted to make at least some impression on that weapon of mass destruction.

YSS Kaiyo - Bridge

"I'll...take all those orders as a 'keep running.'" Kyoi replied.

She hit the accelerator again, beginning to move at a more reasonable pace that wouldn't burn the engines out. Away from anything scary.

The little Shan shook in her harnessed seat nervously. She brushed off a fallen feather from her console and took several deep breaths. She glanced over across the bridge to see Mochi was still okay, and smiled before she caught word of her expertise being needed-the aether shock array, modified.

"What... Ah, yes... Is our array powerful enough, even if we modified it? I thought it was only the Sharies that could reliably do that." She didn't dare explicitly mention that 'that' was actually the weapon tearing up the literal universe, for quite a few reasons. But she thought about things for a few minutes, namely what she could remember from when they first arrived in this strange world... Universe... Place.

The snek's relentless barrage had stopped for a moment to reload, right before Meissa had sent one enemy neko in his general direction, express delivery. Turning his head to look at where her signal was coming from, he was greeted by the hardest glomp he had ever experienced in his life, getting the nenmy neko's face shoved right into his. The impact knocked him back, and out of pure reflex his tail shot aruond, ciling around the opposing neko to restrain her torso and right arm.

"Gahh!.......Got 'eem!" Realizing what he had caught, he applied more and more pressure with his tail, squeezing and pulling the neko's arm back at a rather painful angle, making sure she wouldn't be able to use her rifle at him or his crewmates. His right hand left the rifle for a second, only holding it by the barrel with his left to line up his right arm's aether wristblade, lashing out or a firm jab to the neko's throat.

YSS Kaiyo - Power Armor Bay

Random sprays of fire were ricocheting all around them now. More enemy armor had beamed in already?...

The pale gynoid looked up to observe the Mindy now supporting them, but then only narrowly avoided being shot in the face point blank by the very enemy they were trying to overpower. It's hair turned out to be more like a fibrous non-organic wire, completely inflammable even with a laser punched through it.

Despite the new scorch marks down the side of their face, however, the (living?) weapon didn't even take the time to blink. Clawed toes found their place, one on the torso and one on the helmet, and both hands grasped at the arm still clinging urgently to the rifle. The following twisting motion was a lot like uprooting a small tree. But quite a bit more messy.

Alternate universe variant of a Aether SMG now in-hand, the robotic unit returned the favor to the one covering them, by belting out their own stream of fire into an enemy near their back. Probably didn't kill them, but Ise didn't stay in one place to confirm it.

In a split second they were on the move again, form rippling back into invisibility as they bound downwards, back along the floor. CFS was catching stray shots and arcing wildly, but it was enough to avoid giving the enemy a clean shot at least.

An enemy not paying attention to her; An opening? No, there was someone covering them from the far side...

Bouncing against a dented floorplate and reversing direction, the original target now became cover themselves, blocking line of sight with the one only just shy of firing on them...

They just had to get a little closer. Crawling fast and low, exactly the way an organic person shouldn't move...

Vaulted into the air, attacking point blank again; But this time with a blazing firearm on full auto!

Power Armor Bay

Once she registered the falling head of her now-neutralized target, Hanna dived into cover behind a nearby framework. Status checks took her only an instant to complete, her armor's systems showing "green" on all damage checks.

After processing the new intelligence from boss, Hanna peeked out of cover to briefly scan her surroundings and to determine her next course of action. After glancing at the proximity of some of her squad mates to many of the unshielded enemy armors, Hanna decided to prepare a flashbang.

"Flashbang incoming!", Hanna yelled out over the squad channel, as she marked the intended landing point of the grenade in red.

After waiting a few seconds, Hanna leaned out of cover, tossed the flashbang grenade at the unshielded armors, sighted her submachine gun, and fired a barrage of aetheric energy at her targets.

William was surprised as he caught Wila's arm with his blades. He used one of his blades to force the arm up higher, exposing Wila's underarm. This armor might be strong, but it had to have it's weak points.

He cocked his arm back and fired his forearm cannon into her underarm. He had hoped that it would be a weak point on the armor, and if it was he could and would use it to his advantage. He gritted his teeth as he fired salvo after salvo at the spot.

Mochi gawked a little as the ship came to a complete stop, somehow not sending them all flying towards the nearest wall at terminal velocity. "Wh-Huh?" he managed to get out, several of the warnings on screen now fading away as they returned to normal operating speeds. After only a few seconds of trying to figure how that was even possible, the phoenix shrugged mentally - "Magic.." he muttered to nobody in particular. Now he didn't have to focus on the hull at all, Mochi rebalanced the coolant and power around the ship and since the engines were off they had a lot of spare power.

Now they had to do a bunch of modifications of an unknown nature to try and return to their home realm. Where was Anastasia when you needed her? "I take it some of these modifications have to be done to the actual hardware?" Mochi addressed the godlike figure from his padded chair. 'This should be interesting, hitting things with wrenches while we're swamped with enemy power armor." he sighed a little at the thought. 'At least we're out of the frying pan.'

Yoshida's grin grew wild as she noted something very important. They weren't the ones reeling from an overwhelming offensive. For the time being, she decided to continue doing as she was, firing away with her Gatling rifle- but while she did this, she charged. She was extra careful to avoid shooting in paths that could potentiality hit allies in the cross fire, but the fact she was on the other side of the line of enemy armors gave her a very similar problem; She may be hit both by enemy fire, and inattentive attacks from her comrades if she wasn't careful enough to position herself in a region none would be firing in an attempt to hit an enemy.

As she charged, she moved like an ice skater, skirting low to the ground, weaving from side to side, always watching the fire from allies and enemies. For a moment, as she drew closer, she was confused as their fire suddenly diverted- to a new group of mindy 4s no less! Even more reinforcements besides the strangely moving... thing fighting along side them? They'd win for sure!

Or, that was what she thought, as she noticed firstly that they didn't seem all that effected by the incoming fire. Yoshida's grin only widened further at this. "Why don't we use that trick more often?" She said aloud mostly to herself as she closed in on a target- intent on jammign the still firing barrel into them and erasing their insides, just before forcing them to the ground and making sure they'd never stand again.

Mission Ops/Communications

Riku had been absorbed in the infantry's fight, a little too focused then he should have been. Their fighting styles and methods differed from the others but he was certain that, given enough time, they could all learn to work together properly. There were a few instances where the Minkan wondered if the ship wouldn't simply catch fire from the amount of weapons fire coming off the many HUD interfaces in front of him; the fact that they somehow had an antique weapons system on-board also concerned him as such a variant had been discontinued years ago. With a sigh, he leaned back in his chair somewhat, body shifting with the estranged and erratic movements of their erstwhile mother-ship, still working despite it all; his focus, again, was simply too singular.

It wasn't until a line of text, bold and invasive, spread out across the board in front of his eyes; taking over half the screen so as to obscure the fighting he seemed so enthralled with. Riku sat up straighter, blue eyes gaining back some of their usual luster as he watched the words come scrawling out.

"THE CAPTAIN HAS REQUESTED A STATUS UPDATE ON THE IYS SHIP, CURRENT CONFIGURATION CONSIDERED HOSTILE; AS THIS STATION DOES NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THE SHIP'S SENSOR NET, I AM UNABLE TO CONFIRM NOR DENY THEIR CURRENT STATE. IT IS SAFE TO ASSUME THAT, SINCE THE ENEMY BOARDER'S HAVE NOT RETREATED, THERE IS A NINETY-NINE POINT NINE PERCENT CHANCE THAT THE AFOREMENTIONED HOSTILE SHIP IS STILL COMBAT-EFFECTIVE, STABLE, AND TRAILING AT A DISTANCE SUFFICIENT ENOUGH TO SUPPORT THE MIRROR CREW'S COMBAT EFFORTS."

"REPORT END, RESTORING SCREEN FUNCTIONALITY."

At the message's ending he simply nodded, then linked the NH-28's communications and status into the OPS console; effectively rendering her/it a member of the Kaiyō's PA Infantry Team. He dragged his finger over the screen, making room for it alongside the others currently engaged in combat. He turned in his seat slightly, gripping the edge of his station so as to avoid being thrown off, in time to, again, note the entity's return. He waited, for it to leave, to go somewhere else. Yes, it seemed all-powerful, and perhaps what it said about being limited in his ability to "affect" the world around him was due to their counter-part's developing some technology or having advanced so far as to render his god-like manifestations of miracles into mere parlor tricks; akin to card tricks and sleight of hand.

Once he left, he called out his report. "Our infantry squad is currently still engaged in combat with the enemy boarders, so it is safe to assume that they are still within support distance and either trailing us or are fully capable of rendering aid in the form of their own ship-bound weaponry. I don't have access to the sensor net though, so this intelligence is an educated guess at best."

With that, he placed a finger on the console and slid it over towards the Captain's chair, setting up a HUD-like communications tablet that was about the size of a small square into the holographic overview she had of the ship. Any transmission Riku received would be piped directly to her, something that could be handled very easily, as the Minkan would take most of the work-load in managing said transmissions; only audio and visual feeds would be given to their erstwhile Captain.

"IYS Kaiyō, this is the YSS Kaiyō, respond immediately to this hail; what is your status?"

Anastasia got back up from her rest, stretching the muscles in her back as she moved towards the nearest Damage Control Station. She had broken something in her back, sending messages of pain constantly. She returned to engineering, wearing a specialized red AMES suit. She leaned down and deactivated the blast shutters outside engineering once more, stepping into the frying pan.

"I'm working on cooling the engines.." the technician updated through closed communications. She took a coolant-based fire extinguisher and a repair kit, moving to the base levels of the room.

Anastasia started doing rounds about the reactor, putting out any potential fires and cooling the hot metal pipes around the reactor. It wasn't as efficient as solid liquid coolant the engines normally used, but they were running low as it is. The interior temperature of engineering soon started to drop, slowly and surely.

Having lowered the shields of the enemy infantry now, Mat leapt and sliced at one of them, continuing the motion into a sweep of his legs to knock his target down.

Power Armor Bay

Things had gone five different ways to hell. Amanozako knew deep down these alternate universe types were bad news, deep in the pit of her stomach she had known something was wrong with them and was not surprised they had turned upon them and were now trying to take the ship. The former NMX neko dodged an attack, then made one of her own. She had her HHG's out and cracked off a shot at one of the enemy. She did not like this.

She snapped off several more shots at the same enemy, emptying both her large revolvers. Amanozako dove behind a crate and opened the calendars on her weapons, quickly slotting new projectiles into the weapons. One pistol she loaded with solid lead slugs, the other with explosive red shells. There was an inherent danger to using the small but powerful explosive projectiles in confined spaces, but she needed an equalizer against bad guys in heavy armor. Loaded, she flipped both weapons closed and rejoined the fighting.

YSS Kaiyo- Roaming the Halls

The worst part about being a Medic was trying to keep up with an entire ship's worth of crewmembers, especially when there were so few medical personnel on board, and especially, especially when there was so much going on at once.
Of course, some of the stress of this was alleviated by comms, Royama didn't know what she'd do without them.

"Anyone injured?" She asks the crew in general. She was armed, but her main priority was the crew's health.

Power Armor Bay

The flashbang did its job in stunning those that were attacking the YSS crew and ship and in the moments that followed, with her SMG, Hanna blasted several Neko and Minkan, reducing three of their shields to null. Yoshida avoided the spray by maneuvering perfectly and flouncing her opponents.

Ise's target was depleted of all hope. They stumbled backwards and fired round after round from their forearm at the cougar. Ise was grazed by the fire, but not as hurt as her captive was, now well within decimation's grasp.

Abart's main squeeze was jabbed right in the jaw and squirmed under his tail's grasp. The power armor-clad soldier flailed and shot out at his armored tail several times before Yoshida "erased their insides" against the ground.

Mat and Meissa's combined efforts were capable and cunning. The two of them hacked and sliced and tore their way to near-victory by lowering the shields of everyone they hit. But, eventually, Meissa's shields, too began to weaken with the amount of attention she had grabbed. Her armor's chest was near its breaking point in a matter of time.

William's target flew through the air and landed against a wall of the bay, hurt but not down for the count just yet.

Like Meissa, Abart had begun to draw attention and his own armor was reading yellow on the helmet and tail. Hanna seemed to be doing well as was Yoshida, while Amanozako was tearing through opponents and hiding while honing her skills.

Bridge

The man stood on the bridge and replied, "I know what can get you home, a TTD."

"Transuniversal teleportation drive..." Eden whispered. "Those are—" She caught herself and said, "Wait, are they restricted here or easily accessible?"

He ignored her question to say, "We will have to extract some of the components from the IYS Kaiyō. Are you capable of that?"

To Arbs, Eden said, "Arbitrated-hei, we can do it! Anastasia-hei will help you." To him, she said, "We are, but if they have TTD, why have we never seen them in our universe?" Eden asked of him.

"Their technology, their TTDs require an identical energy signal to go to another universe. Isn't that how you did it?" He waved his hands about as if invaded by a wasp. "Not knowing things! It's for the weak!"

"I know what to do," Eden said, tearing her eyes away from him and she turned to her console. She worked the controls that Riku had helped pop up to the side. The bridge crew would notice Eden was speaking to the IYS bridge slowly, deliberately, and above all, peacefully.

"...Yes, we will see you soon. YSS Kaiyō actual out."

The power armor team's counterparts then lowered their weapons.

The YSS team then received orders over their comms from Eden, "Lay down arms! And by that I mean, look like you're laying down arms, away team. Be ready to pounce at my say so!"

She closed her command controls to look at him and the man smiled, "I should be going."

"Wait," Eden said, putting out a hand. "Who are you?"

"You may call me as my race is sometimes known, if you would like a designation or name for me," he said while waving his hands about and looking bored. "The All Seeing works."

"Alright, All," Eden said. He scoffed and held his head back so his jaw was almost touching his epaulettes on his shoulder.

"That does work for you, right, All?" Eden teased.

He smiled as he straightened his head and he snapped his fingers, gone once more.

"Kyōi," Eden said. "Turn this ship around. We're going back. Back home." She looked to Kikyō. "Hear that, honey? Home."

Engineering

"Hot in here!" All yelled at Anastasia as the levels equaled and the ship got cooler. "You may as well stop, there's no reason to keep aiming to do what I've already accomplished for you. Now... You're the engineer? Good," he said without listening to her response. He held his hands in front of his paunchy belly. By this time he had on his Type 35 with white panels which was a little too tight around his middle. He wore the same rank pin as the Shosa and the ship patch of the Kaiyō above the Hinomaru on his right shoulder. He went on, "We're going to need to take out the bits that go sproing! and replace them with the bits of the weaponry that go boom!" He looked around, muttering, "Where is she?"

He raised his hands and snapped both fingers. In an instant Arbitrated appeared after a shimmering dull light occupied the space that she now replaced on the first floor of engineering.

"Good, now that you're both here! Replace the sproing! with boom! Got it or should I go on further?" He looked from Arbitrated to Anastasia and said, "Ana, dear, you better fill in little Arbitrated here. Or do you prefer Arbs? Remember, you're in my universe now. I know," he shimmied his fingers around, "all."

Whatever works. And if trusting whatever god was worked, then fuck it, guess she's religious now. Even though she never liked Shintoism or any of the religions for that matter.

She preferred the belief known as "Pilot's Luck." That is to say, trust in your instinct and it can bullshit you out of just about any scenario.

And, as Kyoi swung the ship back around towards the IYS Kaiyo, she was making a total testament to pilot's luck.

"This place is turning into a madhouse." Kyoi muttered as Arbitrated just vanished from her chair.

YSS Kaiyo - Power Armor Bay

Could it work?

Meissa gave it a good thought after disengaging from her enemy. Maybe.

Maybe Eden talked it through. Maybe something came up with god, the one that looked like a hobo. Then again, maybe if god was trying to bullshit as hard as he could, anything would be possible at this point.

"Eden's orders, team." Meissa ordered. "Disengage from the enemy. Weapons down but ready yourself to pop them back up in a moment if need comes. That means play it dirty, but not too dirty. Charge teleports in case they pull something or we have to pop a quick reposition. Focus shields front. Stand together, combine CFS fields to support damaged armors."

With that, Meissa put herself in front of the armory doors, teleport charging. She didn't put any power to weapons; just her barrier and teleport.

Orion stared under his face plate at the Mindy clad minkan on top of him for a second, both of them where in an akward position as Orion snapped. He instinctively pushed the minkan off of him, standing up and stumbling a bit away from the minkan who had actually done some serious damage to his armor.

"...personal space...!" He said as he rejoined his group, staring angrily at the enemy armor.

Arbles nodded as Eden and All spoke. She opened her little mouth to speak before suddenly she disappeared.

Engineering

One undersized angel flopped down onto her bum from a sitting position with an uncomfortable yelp, taking a few moments to reorient herself as the deity guy prattled on about "sproing"s and "boom"s. Oh, and then he mentioned her name. Shaking her head to clear it as she heard her name, and standing up, she responded, "I'm... Not sure what we're replacing what with...?"

Power Armor Bay

The ballet of carnage was interrupted by a blinding flash of light, stuttering both Ise and the downed enemy in their actions. Estimations stated that the current target was at only 22 percent combat effectiveness, but the second one who has spotted them was quickly closing in.

With a truely cold, calculating calm, the machine simply decided to take advantage of the next raise of her victim's arm gun. A firm grasp and a twist robbed the strength and purpose out of it, so that the gynoid could then engage into a full pirouette, boosting around with her inertia systems and then shoulder-throwing the old target directly into the new assailant.

A crash of confirmation was heard, but Ise wasn't confident enough in it killing them both to stick around. No, the second the attack completed, they used the inertia to pull a madly swinging forward flip, camouflaging again and once more leaving the enemy firing at glitch-strewn after images.

The skittering landing was loud enough, but fortunately hidden by the ongoing maelstrom of fire. Their feet dented the wall over the head of some unarmored soldier who was using the racks below them as cover... Amanozako, no second name, according to the ship's file...

-"Mercenary... Do you require assistance fitting power armor?..."- The machine inquired, in a tone much too calm given the circumstance. Their body was little but a glass-like 3D shape, and the speech was pure telepathy. -"This system does not detail your Mindy certification..."-

Mission Ops/Communications

Other than an oddly customized chibi robo-cat as an icon, Riku also realized that they had access to a great many more command functions than the normal Mindy. All of the weapons and potentially hazardous propulsion systems had their own digital safety switches, and there was even an activity schedule, not unlike a debug read out from the future.

~114; Assist with squad member equipment fitting.
115; Correlate enemy projectile tendencies.
116; Project escape routes by lowest percentage of potential damage.
117; Reassess navigation data.
118; Project personal attack vectors.
119; Utilize appro▒

121;
000(+PERS/LOGIC1); Ascertain self worth?
000(+PERS/LOGIC2); Attain Eden Teien Shosa's approval?

000(+PERS/LOGIC5); Why does Ise have toes?~

Not only could they talk to this "Ise Goramu" and monitor their actions much more closely, but it seemed like the designers wanted to be able to input orders and code directly, without the bother of actual verbal communication...

In a sudden change of events, the enemy seemed to be calling for a cease fire, with a few waving their arms in the general direction of most of her squad.

Upon seeing this, Hanna vaulted over her cover and followed Nashira-Hei to the front of the power armor bay. As she glanced around at the enemy, she saw them lower their weapons and a few place their hands in visible locations. It was clear that they had lost this battle, but the enemy still needed to be fully neutralized. All of them remained suited in their armor, and a few even had their hands still on their weapons.

Right away, Hanna knew what needed to be done. She strode to the front of the bay, put her speakers on general broadcast, and lowered her weapon.

"This is a formal surrender. Take off your armor and drop your weapons. Kneel and present yourself for custody. Fail any part of this order, and you will be fired upon."
